Our hearts go out to our union brothers and the families of those who lost loved ones in the wake of the tragic explosion at the Kleen Energy Plant in Middletown.

The U.S. Senate is about to vote on a jobs bill. Please call your senators and urge them to fight for our jobs and to fix our economy.

Our members who work for the Stamford Housing Authority are fighting layoffs and service cuts. And the residents stand behind them.

State public service workers met with the Rell Administration to discuss "win-win" solutions for Connecticut, not more labor concessions.

Council 4's annual conference and convention takes place April 9-11, 2010 in Stamford, CT.

Council 4 members like those from AFSCME Local 184 (Metropolitan District Commission) are mobilizing to support earthquake relief efforts in Haiti.

Local 3145 and Council 4 are fighting efforts by the American Red Cross that would weaken the workforce and put donor and blood safety at risk.
